There is an old joke about a horse in a bar - a guy bets the bartender that the horse can make him cry. I won't tell the rest, because it's OT and inappropriate and NSFW. And as everyone knows, I would never post anything NSFW on this Forum.

Anyway, I can make you cry. I spent the morning at the metal recycler, earning $234 for some Romex and assorted plumbing scraps. On my way out, I saw this - and I wandered on over. There are a couple of BMW engines in this pile. And a couple of trannys. Not necessarily pictured here, because I'm the world's worst cellphone camera picture taker - but trust me, they are there. Someone must have backed up a truck from VOB BMW or BMW Excluservice or something - just guessing.

Told you - I can make you cry. BMW powerplants, scrap-metal prices.

PS - to make this truly on-topic, I think there was a thread a few pages back, where someone in NoCal asked about disposing of an exhaust system. The folks at this recyling facility in Rockville confirmed that they do indeed take old exhausts.
