I felt old yesterday

Attended my niece Caroline's high school graduation yesterday. Thank goodness it was held at George Mason's Patriot Center - it was hot, muggy and rained right when we exited the building at 5pm.

Since her class size was 540, it reminded me of mine from 1984 (550 students). My graduation was held outside at the track/football stadium - it rained right before the ceremony and the plastic seats had to be tipped to dump the standing water.

This event also marked another milestone for me. My niece was only weeks old when I met my to-be wife for the first time.
