Seat Catch

I in putting the stock seat back in and need some missing parts.

Car: 72 tii

I need the seat catch mechanism which controls the forward/aft position for both the diver's and passengers side. The seats have the sliders but no mechanism to control position.

The actual catch as well as the handle and necessary mounting bits.

I am located in SF Bay area. Double02 does not have them.

If the ones off a 74 are the same I have them. Not a clue how to get them off but I can try for ya.

Do you mean the hardware on the floor pans? I have a complete set from a '78 320i (VIN 5436757) which uses the later-style '02 seats - don't know if that hardware would work with '72 seats???

Hi Ian,

Thank you for your efforts, but it appears not to be the same. The '72 seats catches work on the outside rail.

There is a comb piece attached to the seat and the catch mechanism is mounted under the outside rail. Perhaps it could be made to work, but let me try a bit more to find the exact part before I go about mucking up a different piece.
