Will the real Baikal please stand up

I am planning a paint job for my 72 tii. It started life as Fjord and was repainted in Maaco blue (somewhat close to Atlantik).

One color that was recommended for consideration is Baikal. In searching the web for images it seems that Baikal is not as consistent as the other colors at least in photography.

I have gather some of the images. And the question is which image best captures Baikal in real life?

I'd say B and E

I was going to vote for A in sunlight and C around sunset.

A & C, though B is very close it's just the lighting, camera and... that have it a smidge off. I the right light Baikal has a hint of purple and in other light more grey. Very good color and timeless. There are modern colors that still don't compare.

Why not go back to fjord? It's an awesome color, I had a fjord 02 until a red light runner killed it in LA county. Early tii's in the original color will be worth more in the long run.

Colorado or Baikal.

What color is the interior? If black you are OK with any color. If blue, stick with a blue exterior. Keep it simple.
