tips for using the forum search function

so any tips would be appreciated. when i use forum search nothing remotely close to what i'm looking for comes up. thanks.

some like site search function, some like forum search.

be as specific as you can and use the word "and" between your search tems.

"engine and swap and m20"

works well for me all the time.

i've never had any luck with search either...it used to be that i could search for CARPET and i'd get all of my threads from newest to oldest but something changed and now the results are crap...

see the attached image...i searched for CARPET AND MATS and get very little
