tires and wheels Any easy to find wider 13" steel wheels?

I wouldn't mind stepping up to 185's and was wondering if there are any affordable, common steel wheels that would let me keep my factory hubcaps and have the correct offset?

One of our club guys runs 205s on his 13x5.5 rims. I would think a 185 would be fine on a 13x5.5

Just need to check if your existing rims are 4.5 or 5.5 - mine are 4.5, original to my '73 '02 and the 185s wouldn't fit.

Mine are 4.5's. Are there any steel rims that are 5.0- 6.0 that would fit the hub cap and trim ring?

What about these/ 5.5 X 13 from a 320. Original one piece wheel covers do not fit, not sure about hubcaps and beauty ring.

I have heard of others here running them just fine on an original early Tii 5x13 steel rim which uses the stock hubcaps.

That rim in th epic above is the exact rim my friend runs on his 02. 5.5x13 with 205's. There are no provisions on that rim to hold a hubcap but he does run beauty rings and it is a great look

185/70 13 tires need a minimum of a 5" wide rim.

The steel wheels from the later square tailed cars are 5x13 with an ET (offset) of 29 mm. Those fit perfectly on the 02 with 185/70 13 tires.

The tii alloys are 5x13 with ET 26 and also fit perfectly with 185 tires.

The steel wheels from the E21 (320i) look almost identical to the later style 2002 steel wheels, but are 5.5x13 with an ET18 which will fit the 2002, but aren't the ideal offset.
