Windy City Vintage Fest

Any Chicagoland Faqers planning on going to tomorrow's Vintage Fest? I'm trying to decide whether to go because it's supposed to rain the whole day. I don't want to go all the way up there just to see a bunch of E30's, with all the older cars staying home. Last year was the same thing; decided to stay home. Just wanted to know what I can expect if I decide to go.

I'll be there with a tii, panshovelgeo says he'll be there with his '73, Martin will have his tii touring there(he's here at the shop now) and I'm sure some others too

Thanks, guys. Sounds like it might be worth the trip; it would be nice meeting you guys. Ultimately it will depend on what kind of mood I'm in tomorrow and how crappy the weather is ...

Bo and Randy drove in from Ark/Ok and I whimped out and flew in from NC but get to drive Martin's "Moose" in tomorrow.

Since I landed this afternoon, I have spent a couple of hours chatting with Don Dethelfson and touring the shop (drooling everywhere of course), working on Martin's NK with Bo and Randy, driving the NK, riding in Martin's awesome touring, socializing with old friends at Ben's shop eating and touring the facility and drooling over his stuff. And to top the day off I got to ride to the hotel in Bo sweet A4 inducted ride!!!

And the Vintagefest is not until tomorrow!
