Very Good India Pale Ale (IPA) beers

Found another good one at the local Safeway grocery store yesterday. Tried one after working in the garage.

I like IPAs, and have had most of the beers listed here. I enjoy the Racer 5, partially because it's a great tasting beer, and partially because Speed Racer has my initials on his uniform (G over his heart, M on his helmet.)

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective) hops are a sedative, and they contain antihistamines. When I drink a beer with a lot of hops, I usually feel like I'm taking allergy pills, and I'm asleep after a few pints. This is just fine at home after dinner, but not so good at lunch, if I'm socializing, or planning to stay out late.

The Double Take "only" has 6.9% alcohol content. Some are higher. ZZZZZ.

Great Lakes has the Lake Erie Monster. Sold only in 4pk. Don't drink it if your thirsty!
