Started sandblasting my tisa steel wheels today. They all had major surface rust, but the sand took care of that real fast and they are cleaning up quite nicely to my pleasant surprise.

Pulling the tires off for the first time in probably 30 years.

The wheel on the right was stripped of paint to get a better look before everything was blown off from sandblasting.

One wheel (almost) down, three to go.

Looks great, I love pastellblau! I nearly bought one almost identical to yours.

One hint: When taking beauty shots of your car, keep the sun to your back.

Thanks for the compliment and the tip! FYI, I'm using my phone to take pictures, so calling them beauty shots might be a stretch!

I took off the badge bar/bumper bar, which took all of about 10 minutes. It was a major visual change to the car and I like it, looks much cleaner. Don't get me wrong, bumper bars are cool, but I think they suite a roundie better with chrome grills.

Here's me sporting my new sticker at the grocery store. Just look who I happen to run into, a beautiful local BMW 2000 that belongs to Kit (kiva667)!

Nice! I was kicking myself for not having a camera to get a pic of your car.

Lowered it the other day on Bilstein sports and H&R progressive springs all the way around.

Here's some comparison shots between the lowered 02 and the lifted tundra, the top of the tundra's tire is above the belt line trim... Crazy!
