Genuine BMW pannels

Firstly hello to all and thanks for reading.

This is my first post on the forum.

I am currently building a 2002 Tii fast road toy.

I have just aquired quite a large amount of Geniune BMW panels for a 1974 2002Tii.

I am going to be selling much of them. Whatever I don't need to finish my own car.

The problem is I have little to no idea what they are worth. I've looked on real OEM and have seen the new prices. Of the parts that are still available anyway.

If anyone can tell me roughly what each of these items would actually sell for it would be a massive help. Many will end up on here when I've sorted through them I'm sure.

They are all in very good ccondition and are genuine.

Roof with scuttle panel

Both sides c pillars and rear windo surround

Inner sills with chassis rails

Full rear quarter panels both sides

Boot floor

Rear panel

Tailgate

Bonnet

Front doors

Front door hinge panel with hinges

There are a lot more I simply don't know what they are yet.

Lots of small inobscure panels etc

Any help is massively appreciated

Liam

Depending on your location, (USA, Europe, ETC) paying for freight on a large metal panel makes the deal cost prohibitive in most instances. If a buyer can order a part from a local dealer or specialist and avoid shipping charges and get a guarantee/and or inspect the part before final purchase, this would probably make more sense (if the ultimate cost was about the same.) If you have a local buyer, I would assume you could get 75%+ of retail value. If items must be shipped, the buyer will want to pay about 50% of retail value to offset the cost of freight. Cost savings of no tax/VAT on a private sale should also be considered when negotiating a deal.

Good luck and welcome to the FAQ. Please post your parts/prices and detailed photographs in the for sale forum when ready to sell.

Ben

By all means do post photos of what you have. I have a 74 Tii one owner car that I am resurrecting so I am definitely interested. Alternatively if you would like to email me the photos directly, send them to tmvoce@aol.com

Kind Regards

Thanks for the replys guys.

I will as soon as I've logged everything I have and worked out prices more importantly.

Sorry to keep asking but have any of you seen parts like I've described up for sale and sell? I don't even know how easy it is to get these parts.

The roof in particular according to the price lost I've seen appears to be no longer avaliable? Has anyone seen a complete genuine roof sell?

Thanks for the help guys

I have bunch of them in my yard (sunroof), chopped and removed from parts cars, that is the only way you are going to find them. You should add an email and contact info (location) if you want to be taken seriously in this forum.

Hi again.

Still trying to get the hang of the forum.

Think I've got the user name, profile etc sorted now.

If anyone would like to see pictures I have a photobucket account with them on.

My laptop is down and I only have my iPhone to work on at the mo.

Hence the problems getting my pics up etc.

If anybody wants to email me feel free and I can let you know what I have.

Soon as I'm back on my laptop I'll get some proper for sale threads made.

To ask again tho. I have a guy local to me who is plaguing me for my roof panel. I don't know what to take for it. BMW say it is discontinued so I have no ball park figure to work from.

It's new.

Original BMW in primer.

Has the A pillars and scuttle panel with wiper drive holes

No sunroof

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Liam
