I was discussing this with Brian the other day via email. I have a used tii sender that is about an inch shorter than the standard one in my car. I think it is from an early tii, can you confirm?

The number on the steering column, my title and the engine bay plate doesn't start with WB... it starts with 422. It's shorter than I expected it to be, something like 422XXXX. ???

Chances are very high that you would need 62161358097 for your '74 2002 (non-tii)

welcome to the old car world. 2002's were made well before the current standard for vin numbering. 422xxxx is your vin.

My "matching" numbers are for a 74 and i got a 70 beat that! Not only are vins very non specific but ppl tamper with them too much.
