valve covers

Saw the factory "NEW" Tii at Monterey a few years ago, it had a 320i valve cover on it! It was in the padock with Rug Cunningham's cars, I gave them a bad time about it. The next day they had the correct V/C.

Bill Arnold loves to tell that story... He's the one who gave them the correct Tii one from the many varied valve covers on his walls. I don't know the whole story off the top of my head but believe that car was at his shop for some reason or another... I believe Mike Self might know the rest of the story.

I believe that if you order a new Tii Valve Cover it comes as the early 320i one... Superseded, that's why BMW had one on their catalog recreation.
