A friend of mine had a Saab 96 back in the late 1970's, that was a neat car

cool car, but still, imo, one of the ugliest shapes for a car ever! the older they are the better though.

I think the thing that draws me to them is how different they are in all respects.

Change the clutch? I hr if your good.

Change the water pump? 8 hrs if your lucky.

Remove the radiator without draining the cooling system.

I learned to drive on a 1979 900 5 door. Three speed auto was a pig, and the green velour interior was hideous. I miss it none the less. The dreaded water pump was the death of it.
