Repair manuals

Blue Binders are awesome, the later ones are needed for a tii.

Also get a Haynes as it assumes you are not a factory trained mechanic.

The more manuals, the better!

There is a free/large download online somewhere of the Factory binders for your computer, I have a 2 band set set I would sell for your garage if you want to go that route.

Agreed, the more the better. I've found that different manuals have different tidbits of info.

Factory binders are great. Make sure they are complete with the fold out drawings that usually go missing.

There is also a factory CD.

Haynes book has been the standard, but more recent editions are coming with poorer quality pictures. (Or it's just my eyes)

Chilton had a book out, as did Clymer.

The McCartney restoration book has some good tips.

Prosperos Garage (on ebay I believe) has color wiring diagrams that while not all inclusive, they do make some electrical troubleshooting aspects easier.

The RealOEM site, under the archive section, has parts diagrams that may help.

C.D. on this site is one of the BEST resources for factory pictures and a lot of advice.

The FAQ as a whole probably has your answers, you just need to ask the question properly to get a good answer and not a smart ass remark. OK, you'll probably get both from us, regardless.

Welcome. Get a Haynes book to start out.
