The Site Search, above and to the right, using speedometer cable, brought up the thread below. The last photo in Jim Gerock's response is a good photo.

After backing out the keeper bolt, the cable goes into a hole. Then snug up that keeper bolt to keep the cable in. You can see the keeper bolt in Jim's photo too. I think it is has an M5 or M6 head. It is somewhat small.
