Sad indeed, but he did have a good innings, unlike a lot of artists of the era.

And Etta James is now gone. Left one helluva legacy. Glad she got some recognition.

Hubert Sumlin passed several weeks ago. He didn't get the recognition he should have, but he was known by those who cared. Not too many performers get their final expenses covered by the Rolling Stones.

When any of the legends are in your town, go see 'em! It may be your only chance to just tell them "Thank you".
