Answer to most wheel questions

I have been searching for wheels for my car. After

doing research and asking questions 5" backspacing

is ideal for our cars. Here is a chart that helps you

find what backspacing a wheel has and the et of it

based on the width and backspacing or the other way

around if you have the et and width you can figure out

the backspacing. This will be much easier for people to

determine if the wheels will fit. Of course if you get a

wheel with the wrong backspacing ex 6" you can probably

get a spacer to move the wheel towards the fender. This

should help anyone with questions concerning wheels and

if they will fit. Feel free to add anything I missed.

I am actually in the same boat, and found this chart and it saved me from annoying everyone with my stupid questions lol

Buuuuuut.... A thought the perfect backspacing for our cars was 4.5" Based on this link

http://www.bmw2002.com/tech/bmw-wheels.html

Anyone care to clarify if I should go by 5" or 4.5" not that it should really matter at that much But ya never know
