The guy said he could provide the serial numbers upon request. Might be worth verifying that they're not from one of the tiis that have been stolen recently.

Very good thought. Especially since this is for sale in California where I've seen posts for a few stolen in.

This Tii was stolen in LA in late 2011, but was a 73 Tii (not 72).

Is what the seller true about how one can tell the difference between a 72 or 73 Tii engine?

72 should have 121ti head and plastic intake runners.

73 should have E12 head and aluminum intake runners.

I have a 73 Tii motor for sale that I would sell for the same price. $1500. Complete running motor. Has been sitting inside for years.
