She may not think she's as pretty as she used to be but she's still my pride and joy, and I know I'll get her back to her former glory.

The nice '02 of course. I wouldn't call my turbo project my pride and joy, maybe once it's running.

The volvo is total personal taste, but I've noticed quite a few people are 2002/240 or e30/240 owners. It's a lot more fun to drive after the suspension upgrades and E30 sport seats I stuck in last week.

And a few of the bikes

DH 8/8" travel 37.8lbs with my other wheelset, dropping soon to sub 35lbs...insanely light if you know DH bikes

Road bike

And the next purchase after I sell two of my current bikes. Full carbon fiber, 6"/6", 29-32lbs as an XC-FR bike. Bike shop employee discounts are awesome :)

Only if I could afford your DH bike... I'd love to own a DH as well as my cross country and road.

Eugene, OT but I'm a sucker for 240's... That is, 242 Turbos ;) I love 240s for their reliability, but they're gutless pig iron unless they have at least a DOHC swap.

My S70 T5 will knock the doors off of even new 3 series cars, all she has is a slightly turned up wastegate.

Brother's s70 T5 will knock the wind out of you, but I hate working on it.

Yeah, I've got a 16v head I plan on doing the swap with in a year. Also switching from a 3.31 to 4.10 rear end w/the G80 locker & Getrag 265 trans. It'll be loads faster.

Yeah, that was a whole summer's worth of pay and worth every penny.

Go for it! Not very common cars... I've seen only about 5 in my life. But very awesome cars. Only thing is, it's a dreadful automatic :P I wonder if they're as easy to throw a manual at as a 2002.

It also says "minimal rust"...What's that supposed to mean? o.O

yeah i have a feeling that would strictly be a "putting around" car. performance mods are probably non-existent haha. the only thing putting me off is that i doubt i could find any parts for it locally. i've already been through most of the junkyards in NJ looking for 02s (none!) and i havent seen any volvos earlier than 85-ish so it might be a nightmare trying to do any work on it. tempting though!
