NLA bulbs for the heater fan controls

Anyone have a substitution for the NLA bulbs for the heater and fan controls

These bulbs are available at auto parts stores such as Advance Auto.

Take one with you and match it up.

1973 and later had illuminated heater face plates.

Pull the black knobs off the slide controls and pry off the silver-colored plates to reveal (1) small bulb in each side.

Interesting! Definitely gonna look into that when I get home. Hopefully they're not crazy German bulbs. I took a rear parking light bulb...side marker...whatever from the 02 to napa, they gave me the best poker faces I've ever seen and made me drive an hour to another napa to get them.

The correct bulb from Sylvania is #2721

They are 12 volt, 1.2 Watts.

I found them at the local Kragen/OReilly's here in California. They also carried a cheaper bulb made by Eiko that is also labelled as 2721.
