I Want the Loudest Horn One Can Get for My 02 What Do You...

Just installed the Hella Supertones on my '02 last weekend. Only had one OE horn working and when someone pulled out in front of me the first day I had my '02 out of storage, it was pretty anemic. These Hellas bolted to the original location using the same hardware and the wires plugged right in. Truly plug and play in 30 minutes including grill removal and installation. These are pretty loud but do not have the air horn high pitched sound. But, I also didn't have to find a place to mount an air compressor. Personal choice indeed, but they were just too easy. These are also high pitched, but rather are made to grab attention, not sound pretty, and they do grab attention. Nice red powdercoat finish and Hella quality. Nice piece and seem to sell for $50-$55 about everywhere online.

Mercedes Benz 600 Pullman horn. DO IT!

...If you've ever watched top gear, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

That video does not do the horn justice. The place I used to work had a 600 limo in for regular service. The compressor under the hood was "chuga-chuga" loud for all the hydraulic systems on the car. I loved how you could lower the suspension WAY down to keep it from being stolen.

Here's what the Fiamms sounds like and the some install. Used all existing holes.

Wolo BadBoy. Stupid name, great horn) It's basically the typical two trumpet air horn except the horns are formed around the compressor making it a smaller footprint. Wolo.com, but I've also seen them at HarborFreight for $20-$30. Mounts with one bolt on an existing hole in the hood hinge support behind the grille.

I'm REALLY glad to see that someone else offered up a Nathan horn, although I am partial to the Nathan P5's since I grew up in Southern Pacific territory.

Before mounting up the Stebel horn, I scavenged a low tone (or high--I can't remember which, but it was the opposite of the other one) from a wrecked 530i. It was the same horn design and there was even a bracket mount for the extra horn behind the grill. Wired them up via a relay and they are very loud, and the dissonance in tone gives it an authentic European sound.

Here's a video of the Stebel Natilus horns in action. They are available from www.twistedthrottle.com. Notice how the sound vibrates the camera.
