Tii throttle body grub screw replacement?

My grub screw is stripped...the funny little screw/nut assembly that sets the idle on the throttle body It's making it hard to fine tune the idle.

They are NLA from BMW. I was thinking that an M6 bolt would work, just add washers to allow for fine tuning. Can anyone see issues with this plan?

Is the grub screw stripped, or the threads in the TB? Hope it's just the screw.

A few options -

- buy metric all thread from Ace or other hardware, cut off right length and cut a slot on one end with dremel

- Take a long metric screw and cut off the head and cut slot like above

- Use the screw without cutting off the head

In all of the above stick the screw in a drill and chamfer/smooth the tip that acts against the elliptic.
