Great Norton. Beautiful. I bet you wish you still had it.

My Hi-Rider is fun to ride. I get a lot of questions about it. Not too many people know what it is. Hardly any around. Most folks who owned them changed them to look like a normal cafe Norton because they were so ugly. So consequently there are only a few left intact.

Also, thanks to FunElan from this forum for taking it for a spin before the purchase.

I saw a 1967 in the Clayton, NC LKQ yard.... Front row. It was surprisingly complete and straight and the motor turned over by hand... I was going crazy about it being in a junkyard. No rust either.

Do you mean the boxier style 520? They switched mid-65 from 320 to 520. My truck is mechanically almost the same as the 520, just the 520 is more 'modern' looking.

Either way, a shame to see a rust-free 520 not getting driven. They're rock solid little trucks. I considered a 520 for a while, but got lucky and found my 320.

Yes, it was a 520. Very straight truck... I have no idea what it was doing there. I asked and someone said an elderly man passed away and nobody wanted it. It was a sahara-ish color with perforated white leather interior... It looked really nice.

I'll take some pictures of it when I go back friday to tear apart a 98 volvo and 83 320i.

Ah, sweet. I'll post the info on the Ratsun forum and alert the troops! Perhaps someone can save it.

I only on part of it. It is much faster than the 02 but burns a lot more fuel.

I don't own any of it but I get to fly it.
