Have any of you seen this car? I don't see a post for it... looks pretty good, are there any red flags in the listing or pics? Lodi's kinda far for me, so any expert input would help

I am selling my European 1973 BMW 2002tii. This tii in particular is numbers matching and has a very early VIN (the 9250th tii ever built).

The BMW 2002 tii is the high performance, fuel-injection version of the iconic BMW 2002. The tii models were fitted with an mechanical fuel-injection system that produced a power increase of nearly a third (100bhp to 130bhp). When new 0-60 times were 8.3 seconds and fuel economy in the upper twenties.

This is a very solid vehicle with a rebuilt engine. I have put approximately 1600 miles on the rebuild and used the appropriate 'break-in' oil and have also performed the subsequent interval oil changes.

The original color is Verona but was painted Schwartz at some point. The paint is in good shape and the coverage is thorough. However, there is some flaking in the engine bay. From what I can tell the sheet metal and frame is straight and solid . The exterior trim is in good shape as is the glass. There is a small rust spot near the rear passenger window and a 5mm paint bubble on the front of the hood at the belt line. That's all I've able to find. I don't know the history of the vehicle before I owned it.

The car has period correct Cosmic MKII wheels and new tires (Falken Sinera 185/75R13). These look really sharp and fill the wheel well nicely and proportionately.

The interior is in good condition. The dash board has been recovered and the headliner is in good shape. All the upholstery has plenty of cushion. The driver's seat has a couple of seam splits on the seat bottoms but otherwise in good shape. The rear seats have no issues. Door cards are complete with no speaker cut-outs for the after-market Alpine stereo. Speakers are mounted on the rear shelf and under the dash, however it is currently not functioning. I haven't tried to fix this either as I prefer to listen to the engine when I drive. The carpet is in fairly good shape and I've been told it is original to the car. Rear shock towers are solid. It also has the trunk battery relocate with strut brace. Gauges and lights are functioning. Although the tii clock (per usual) is not working. The blower motor is not working either.

This isn't a show car but an honest driver that will bring big smiles and lots of compliments. The car tracks straight, shifts smooth, and keeps up well in traffic. Everyone that I've taken for a drive has always commented on how much 'go' it has. The car has always been kept in the garage.

I'm asking $14,850.
