Performed Flawlessly.., Well????

I knew if I spoke too soon, or too loud that my car would hear me and something would happen.

This is what happens when I rev the motor and turn on my headlights. I am not touching the lightswitch at all. I am simply pushing down and letting off the accelerator pedal. Interesting!

I'm scheduled to go to the shop on Monday. Unique setup that the mechanic will need to sort out. I don't do electrical, or much else except drive it. Each time I try to do something, I end up having it towed to the shop anyway. Plus my wife told me "We have been together too long (27 yrs.) for you to get crushed, maimed, or killed under that car. If something happens to you, who is going to take care of me?". So I simply say "yes dear" and take it to the shop. Makes life easier, but more expensive.

Just thought it was interesting enough to post. NO NIGHT DRIVING!!

Enjoy

What was the last thing you fixed?

Check:

Voltage regulator

Alternator ground and connections

Headlight switch

Clean grounds

Looks like ignition is tapped into the headlight circuit.

Last thing checked was a module that appears to regulate the lights. It was taken apart cleaned and adjusted and refitted back. They worked, but I didn't check the "engine rev quotient".

Oh well. Back to the shop.

My mechanic is great.

Thanks
