I have a used set of Euro headlight buckets and headlights, also have the turn signals...Lets assume for a moment that they are in "good" used condition..I will have pics next week for the guys that want to see pics first...What is a fair asking price for such items when I put them on the board?

actually the EURO headlights are not that

valuable(unless your restoring a EURO nosed car)

because of the seperate pieces to make up a

headlight, and the proper grills needed to match up

with the profile of the Euro light units. They are

really a step back in light technology, and a PITA.

'SEALED' hella H-4 lights are leak free and do not

have the 'issues' of the Euro units.

Now those Euro side lights? you got something there.

Good luck. need photos of course

people don't buy cracked or tarnished rusty euro light bits

I have to agree with CD. As an owner of bad Euro headlights unless the reflectors are perfect and you have the dog bowels for the back, I think they are a retrograde step.

Sorry

You've basically asked your pool of potential buyers to set the asking price without seeing the merchandise. As a result, you won't get much help. It may be best to simply list your items in the FS forum with a good description and high quality pictures from many angles and open the sale to "best offers"

As an alternate, since you are not sure on the appropriate starting value I would suggest an eBay auction and just let the market decide the final price.

Thanks for your imput guys...Unlike some but not all people on the FAQ

I'm not trying to squeeze every dollar out of each sale I make...I want a ballpark Idea..I will post pics and and an asking price that I feel is fair in the near future. I bought a Euro 70 2002 parts car and I am not familiar with some of the part values.I have been building 2002's for over 15 years and this in my first "all Euro spec" backyard find. I am looking to sell the parts to help other guys get their projects done, not to make a ton of money off this poor rusty 2002.

Again, thanks for your help

It is. Can´t remember the prices I got from Walloth & Nesch, but it might have been a bit better.. Anyhow lights are pricy in europe.

Sorry

+1

Once the reflectors go bad, they are little better than glow-worms.

Also difficult getting the correct reflector to suit the bucket. There are at least 3 different styles that I know of.

GreenSwede: I've got a few H4's in storage (single units I've found over the years). Condition varies, might work for replacement or spares. Email me (button above) if interested, I'll provide photos. -KB

Thanks! I´ll have a look this weekend and see how bad mine are, there´s a lot on the shopping list right now so I´ve got to prioritize..=)
