Insured it today

Tags this week. Then to muffler shop for a new mid pipe then to the inspection station. cant wait to get it on the road and shake it down to see how it does. 34k original documented miles. Garage find sort of. Sitting so long took its toll.

Really easy to diss the sadly, governmentally, big bumpered Spitfires (and MG's..), but that's still a great looking car..bumpers or not. I like it alot. Carry on...and keep us up to date....

The overiders come off on the Triumphs. The MGs suffered worse.

One of my old neighbors had a bright red Spitfire with the rubber bumperettes. I rode in it once and remember how fast it seemed to be going.

I've named it the Spitwad. What a POS car. LOL B ut its been in the family since new. Father in law bought it new in 75, drove it till 81 and parked it
