Great choice, we love The Kona Brewing Company , the best Pizza on the big island. The brew with Kona Coffee is excellent too.

My fave beer is Boddingtons though , truth be known :)

Although South African's love their largers, I prefer a good Hefe Weis.

Best I ever had was in Konstanz, Ruppaner Hefe Weizen. Amazing beer.

But a more obvious beer choice would be Hofbrau Weizen. Just 'cause it is the ultimate München beer!

+1

Also, pretty much every Bayerische Dunkelweizen. Goes great with breakfast, lunch, dinner, between meal snacks, or can serve as an appetizer, main course, or digestif. Quantities are limited; drink yours today.

Pet peeve:

Hofbräu, not Hofbrau. Correct pronunciation is "hoafbroy", not "hofbrow".

Lagunitas, Port Barrel Aged Hairy EYEball. Was available only for a short time at their brewery TapRoom and at local beer fests.

Very cool that I work only 2 miles from Lagunitas, but sad that I live 50 miles away. :(
