Help me decide on tisa wheel color!

I have decided on running my tisa wheels but I could use some opinions...

Here are my options:

Powder coat in the original stock gray/silver ~$300

Paint in the original stock gray/silver ~$80

Paint silver with black centers ~$80

Now I know the choice may seem obvious to some of you, but I like the paint route because it is cheap and the color can be easily changed if I don't end up liking it. Powder coating would be really nice, but I'm not 100% sure I want the wheels to be all gray. Help me out here and tell me what you think.

And of course, pictures just to get the creative juices flowing.

I like the silver on Mike B.'s wheels. You can get a nice rattle-can spray job using Wurth Lacquer Spray Metallic Silver, followed up with their clear Wurth Lacquer Spray Special RAL 1930. In the pic below you can sort of see that color combination on my wife's '76 Pastellblau, though the wheels are Superlites.

Silver paint could also paint the outermost thin lip the same color as the car or red to create a slight accent. Could mock it up with colored electrical tape to see if it works for you.

the rims are easily chipped when mounting tires, and the chips are difficult to touch up. Also the spots on the back side of the rim where the tire changer grips the wheel will chip, and rust.

I'd go with paint--you can create a very nice look with a dull silver paint (Wurth or the old standby Krylon)--clearcoat over it if you wish.

cheers
