1973 BMW 2002 w/ Rebuilt M10 w/ 0 miles. Trades ? OC, CA.

I tried selling this car last month or so with a blown motor. Too many emails came in, couldnt keep up. I got overwhelmed. Im serious about selling it this time.

Engine Details : Came from my parents e21. They spent 3k on a rebuild. Everything is new in it. Cylinders have been honed out for bigger pistons. Cam is new. New oil pump. 2 weeks ago put a 2002 oil pump pickup tube & oil pan on it. It has a manifold for a carb on it. You can easily put all the fuel injection stuff back on, but i dont have it. 0 miles on it, only started a few times when rebuilt about 8 years ago. Been sitting in garage since then. I have no documentation on it because it was rebuilt by my dads friend in his garage, he is a certified mechanic. He has rebuilt multiple M10s. Reason its been in the garage is because their e21 got towed while engine was being rebult, they lost the car.

Car Details : 1973, Original color is Sahara. Registered until August 2012. 4spd works, stock diff. Rear Bilsteins, Rear lowering springs. Front Lowering springs but only the pass. side is in. 320i sport steering wheel, wooden BMW shift knob. e21 Turbine rims, with tires. 70% tread left. Has a 1 year old Magnaflow exhaust. 2 1/4 inch pipes, paid $295 for it. Pretty beasty. Also have a 245/5 Getrag 5spd. 38/38 weber that needs rebuild. Brakes need to be done. Interior is a 6/10. Seats have a few rips, headliner has cuts. No carpet. No cancer on floors or rockers. Just minor rust. Surface rust on roof. There a few surface rust spots that can easil be sanded. Car is like half rattle can primered. Had my friend try to primer my car, but i didnt like how it was turning out so i stopped him. Have tons of extra parts. Take it all. Located in Garden Grove, CA.

I would have bought it in 30 seconds back when it was going for $1500. If you change your mind and decide to sell it for that again, I'm in Irvine and will be more than willing to take it off your hands.

The extra gas tank ? If your talking about the one on the car, im not parting the car out.

The reason it was for $1500 is because that was just the shell by itself. No new motor, no 5spd, & not all these parts with it.
