Did you test drive the bmw 2002 @ buggybank

I just saw this 02 while strolling thru the buggybank.

Body is rough. Rust thru spots on rockers, rear quarter at trailing edge of wheel arches, and areas of undercarriage too.

Some suspension upgrades visible... Coil overs, ie front sway bar.

Ha! I haven't seen it in person, but the guy I talked to at BuggyBank assured me that it's rust free. I also spoke to one of the FAQers who owned this previously; he said he stopped by to check it out at BuggyBank and that it was nearly unrecognizable it was in such bad shape.

I guess I'll cross this one of my list.

That is a bummer. I was planning on checking it out while I am in the Bay over Thanksgiving but if it is rusty I'll probably not even waste my time.

I'm a very good friend of one of the previous owners and went and saw it with him for old times sake. Definitely not in good shape. Lots of very poorly done body work and still has rust issue. Interior has been trashed.

Does have full suspension (very, very stiff springs, bilstiens, front and rear sways upgraded, and front strut bar). Ansa exhaust, and LSD.

It was really sad to see it in this condition.
