20 years in storage, Time to let it go.

My mom bought the car new in 1974, I bought it from her in 1992.

The Motor still runs, it failed smog in 1996, so I parked it.

Looking to sell it quickly for the best price, If interested , text Jason at 818-461-4663

Looks like it has a Petri or Petri-like steering wheel with a tan vinyl wrap.

Looks like he just updated the ad and it appears to be auctioned off this Saturday AND boosted the price up to $1500! He'll be lucky to get $500 for that beast.

The BMW has a 2.0 liter Gas Motor I dropped a battery in it a year and a half ago, It purred like the old days, but it blew blue smoke, and the clutch went straight to the floor.

Regarding the vehicle problems.... You could probably get it running under $1k and have a car with decent gas mileage, and a petty solid drive train. "blue smoke" = leaking valve guide seals usually, clutch to the floor might just be the clutch master cylinder. And of course it would need new fluids, tune up and tires.

How many miles does it have? Well the Odometer says 10860. The car has only been driven 14 years of its 38 year life. It has sat in long storage for 3 separate times.

The car does have some rust, but not very bad. The body is in great shape, however in interior needs new seats and has water damage. It is in less than great shape. The BMW will need to be towed to its new home,

Back in the Day, I was driving side by side with a Porsche 911 over the rolling hills of Texas, Going up the hills, I would pass the Porsche. Going down the hills, the Porsche would pass me.

I would be a good project car for someone to flip it into some quick cash, but today I'm thinking about paying my Water and Power bill with it.

WOW, 26 people responded to the ad before diner. Sorry If I didn't get back to you if you tried to contact me, I was overwhelmed. I decided to update the ad to answer people's questions. The best time to view the car is during my Barn Clearing Yard Sale this weekend in Woodland Hills.

The Best Price in CASH gets the car.

If interested, TEXT Jason at 818-461-4663

(I didn't find the VIN# on the car this morning, but I will post it as soon as I find it)

Wow, I would have never guessed Riviera! Looked metallic to me, must've been the bare metal shinning thru the thin paint. So is that your driveway the car is sitting in now? If not, did you make an offer?

How did the seller know it is running without any keys?
