Those of you that were around in the '60s/'70s may remember Booker T & the MGs. Dunn was the bass player; also he, with Steve Cropper backed many Stax artists in the day. He appeared in the classic Blues Brothers film.

Sad, but inevitable

If you have a chance, go to Memphis and tour the Rock and Soul Museum, Graceland, Sun Studios, Stax Records, the Gibson Guitar Factory, Beale St., the National Civil Rights Museum. We went to Memphis in March. We were enroute to New Orleans for my niece's wedding. Incredible music has come out of Memphis over the years. The Civil Rights Museum is housed in the former Loraine Motel where MLK Jr. was killed. Such a famous place, it was weird to actually be there in person.

I did the Graceland tour a few years back... Totally agree, weird being there... Very much worth the time... Graceland is today what it was when the king died, not restored, just original... Very cool...
