Stripped Jets

Recommended Posts

So I am rebuild my 32/36 weber and I came across the air corrections jets and it seems as if someone stripped the heads of the jets and I am no longer able to remove them. Is there any way to remove these easily without damaging anything like the emulsion tubes?

nope.

I mean you can try PB blaster+channel locks, "slotting another grove in with a dremil cut off wheel", and other similar last chance items, brass is so soft it'd be a prayer that a left handed drill bit got you anywhere. maybe heat+left hand bit, (if it's off the car and no gas is anywhere near the carb and a channeled flame or you'll melt every gasket in the thing.

once the brass is mangled, it's usually left in there until it's removed via destructive ways.
