still available...

I am sadly selling my 2002. Honestly thought I’d keep it forever. I am needing to simplify at this time in our lives w/ a 1 year old & 3 year old, and change a few priorities. At one time this 02 was owned by the infamous Andy Stuckey.

This has been a long time project for me (I believe I’ve had it for 2-3 years??)…collecting parts and having it being a driving “restoration”. Don’t have an exact amount of $ & time I’ve put into my 02 & parts, but it exceeds my asking price. This 2002 is an absolute blast to drive…very quick.

The GOOD:

The original color is Bristol. This is a very rare and beautiful color. I have seen MANY 2002’s in person, but never a Bristol. It was imported from Germany and I have some VERY cool extensive papers documenting the import and various repairs made throughout the years. Has original engine…was rebuilt at one point I know of…runs great…ALWAYS starts. I wouldn’t say this 02 is rust free, but it very nice and only has a part on the rocker that needs patched, rear wells smoothed and painted.

- Big 320i radiator-NEW-this is a very popular upgrade in the 2002 world.

- All new coolant hoses-NEW

- NEW water pump

- Ireland Engineering Stage 2 springs-NEW

- Bilstein sport shocks –NEW

- NEW front brake calipers w/ NEW pads

- NEW Ireland Engineering Stainless Steel braided brake hoses on all 4’s.

- NEW brake Master Cyl.

- Like new tires.

- 13” Minilite rims (perfectly straight, need refinish…I started striping old paint, never finished).

- 38/38 weber…great, popular upgrade.

- LOTS of great condition beltline trim…at least 2 cars worth.

- Nice Rocker panel trim (3 pieces)

- REALLY nice bumpers

- Front spoiler/valance. –NEW (alone worth $200).

- Clean & Solid floors…took down to metal, primer, rust preventative, Dynamat, carpet kit, -NEW coco mats.

- 320i 5 speed w/ driveshaft (alone worth $350)., mounting bracket, and shifter refurb kit (most of what is needed for the conversion).

- 3.91 LSD (alone worth $400).

- 320i half-shafts w/ all 4 NEW rubber bellows (this is for the LSD conversion).

- Nice set of stock seats (The center corduroy part is pretty nasty and I would replace…but, the side vinyl was redone and perfect).

- Nice set of sport seats…these are really comfy.

- Front strut brace

- Battery relocated to trunk

- Suspension Techniques Front and Rear sway bars –NEW

- Rear strut brace and battery tray –NEW and battery cutoff switch.

- NEW 3 point shoulder seat belts…(from BlueDevils, those of you on the FAQ know who this is). I’ve made holes in pillar for the “nut” for shoulder part, just need to weld a nut into place.

- NEW white headliner for sunroof 2002.

- NEW rear parcel shelf

- NEW LED 3rd brake light.

- NEW driver and passenger seals and all 4 small windows.

- NEW chrome insert that goes into windshield gasket.

- Solid spare tire well, floors, rear shock towers.

- NICE center console w/ 3 NEW gauges.

- NEW upgraded starter.

- NEW ignition coil

- Ansa Sport exhaust

- NEW motor mounts

- NEW 320i tranny mount

The NOT SO GOOD:

-The 4 speed is kinda “knotchy”. (but you’ll have the 5 speed kit!)

-Needs minor body work and then paint.

-The project needs finished.

-After car is driven for a long period of time and then you turn off it wants to continue to run…can’t remember the term for this…run-on?? I just put it in 1st gear, place foot on brake and clutch…then release clutch and have the clutch stop the motor.

-I replaced the drive shaft center bearing, but I believe it needs a better alignment…it is not perfect…drives fine though. You can do this when you install the the 5 speed and LSD!

$3400
