Reminder - led to 3 generations of interest in foreign cars

I was driving my 10-year-old daughter to a play date on Thursday night when we happended to get behind an immaculate black TR3. It brought me back to '63 or '64 when my father's coworker bought just such a car. My dad went nutty over it and I did too, though I was a preschooler. My dad quickly snatched a red TR4 and thereafter, he was interested in foreign cars that were fun to drive. I have that interest and so does my son, Alec. (21 y.o.) Funny how influential that black TR3 was to the three of us ....
