It looks like the picture by the fountain has been over saturated with color, done no doubt by whoever took the picture. Computers are notoriously lousy with displaying color correctly. It's Baikal, but on steroids.

Cameras and screens are all calibrated differently. With cameras it depends on the type of light it's set for, tungsten, florescent, sunlight, they all have different temperatures and affect color in various ways. With screens, it's anyones guess, they are all different. Go to any place that sells TVs and look at the color variation on them , some more red, green, blue, yellow gray etc. Now apply that to your computer screen.

Sticking with Baikal.

Looks like Baikal on my screen.

Never kissed a boy in sleeping bag...did kiss a girl in the frissive crinkling horse hair tan vinyl seats of my '73 '02 in college. Have a different '73 '02 and still kiss the same girl in the frissive crinkly horse hair tan seats.

That is brilliant...love that!

Jeezo, we finally get some ink in a national rag and you're complaining about adjectives? Who are you George Bernard Shaw? The article was brilliant.

Gonzo- I'm with you! Just glad we got some ink. Validates what we all know. We have great taste.

$20-$30 K?!? I don't think prices have gone up that much!

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the article, despite the affected writing style ...

Well, at least when people read this article and see us driving down the street they will think we are all millionaires with our 30K classic cars ;)

Probably a combination of early evening light, metallic paint and massive PhotoShop saturation. Here's a quick, rough comparison of a fairly standard (within reason) Baikal versus an overall (car not isolated, with radioactive grass, etc.) PSD pushed saturation. Starts to go where their "blue" resides. Crazy...
