BMW N62 into my 1962 olds

Well

One thing lead to another and after losing the bottom end on my 62 olds, I have secured (as a trade) an N62!

This is going to be a really reallly fun swap!

Anyone ever hear of such an odd thing?

The N62 is the 4.4l V8 from the X5/745i.

I am still determining a few things regarding controlling this engine. I may look into using stock ECU with immobilization delete, if I can find a place that can do it.

DIDN'T THEY CALL THEM ROCKET OLDSMOBILES ?

They sure did!

Now, It ain't no benzolet, but I figure that this is like revenge for all those people putting ls1s in BMWS ;)

The Engine in Ol' Beulah as we call her is the 394 CID rocket engine. 1949 to 1964 i think that engine or its variants were in use.
