Hey Guys. Names Kile. Just bought a 74 2002. Not my first BMW or my first older car, but I'm definitely going to be keeping this one.

I'm probably going to mostly lurk and buy on this site, but I thought I'd do the usual new members post. So as far as my plans go, I work for an oil company in Texas, and my schedule doesn't allow much time to tinker on any thing, but I hope to get this car back to show room condition, plus some suspension and wheels.

I'll upload some photos when I have access to a real computer.

Where in TX are you?

There's a thriving '02 community in the DFW area, but it gets a little spotty by the time you get down to the San Antonio area (where I am).

I'm actually a bit farther south than Dfw. Our company is based out of Three Rivers. But I actually got passed by a very nice dark red 2002 in Dallas on my way back home on Monday. I took it as a sign from the cosmos so I picked up mine yesterday.
