Fiat Roadster at Lane Motor Museum

While picking up some tii parts from David Yando at the Lane Motor Museum two weeks ago, I strolled thru the garage areas and in the museum to see what was new since the last time I visited in 2010. They have more Eastern Block vehicles including a fresh shipment that David unloaded the morning I arrived (he drives an E30 M3 and Square light 2002).

One "new" car in their collection that I hadn't seen before is this Fiat that was parked just outside the garage when I left.

It is one of the cars mentioned in this month's Hemmings Sports & Exotic magazine in an article on the LMM.

Another unusual vehicle is this Goliath truck - RIMSPOKE would like it.

If it is unusual or a rare vehicle, chances are you will see one at the LMM.

Many thanks to David for allowing me to pick up the parts at his workplace. If you are in the Nashville area, make sure you visit the museum. They are located close to the airport.

THE LANE MUSEUM IS A FASCINATING PLACE .

I DON'T KNOW WHERE JEFF KEEPS FINDING THIS STUFF !

WE STOPPED BY FOR A VISIT IN JANUARY AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY

BY THE QUANTITY & QUALITY OF THE UNUSUAL VEHICLES ON DISPLAY .

PROP DRIVEN CARS ? WHERE ELSE WOULD YOU SEE ONE LET ALONE

A COLLECTION OF THEM ?

THE LIST OF UNORTHODOX VEHICLES THERE IS LONG & DEEP !

THE GOLIATH ATLAS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES .

THIS ONE HAD A FRONT OPENING DOOR 20 YEARS BEFORE THE ISETTA !

AS FOR THE SIGN , GOLIATH DID BRING BACK THE DREIRAD 3 WHEEL TRUCKS

AFTER THE WAR AND PRODUCED THEM THROUGH 1961 .

I HAVE A 1959 GOLIATH GOLI THAT I AM RESTORING NOW . IT WOULD BE RIGHT AT HOME AT THE LANE MUSEUM .
