Curious as to the value range for a 2002 Turbo fully restored?

The highest that I have seen was Chris Provo's car. It sold for around $75k. Maybe some of the group here know of more.

Whatever the market dictates on that given week.

You could have bought a real rusty in need of everything turbo a few weeks ago for 22K but that did not sell at asking. but you already knew that.

A restoration done properly and thorough should be no less than $40K.

But what do I know I only play internet cop on this forum.

Alvin's (oops did I say his name?) car was going for the whopping ask price of $100K but that was over in the Philippines.

Thanks - I have found one that is looking completely restored and very solid (by photos) but I have to see it in person.

They are asking 52k and seems a bit high. I think they bought it as a collectable in 2001 so they might have paid dearly?

$52k for "completely restored" is a steal! Buy it now! What is "completely restored" and who did the restoration?

It is apparently at a collectors collection - I am looking into getting to visit it... but dont want to buy the ticket it this price is over the top...

It looks great, and may in fact be so. Again, I have a " dog in this hunt" as I own a turbo, but $52k if it is "right" is, in my opinion, very fair. From experience, I will say you cannot do one for that much, at least for a first class job.

You need a ppi from someone who knows Turbos...absolutely! Turbo troubles can be an invitation to your own personal twilight zone. That said, what great cars. They are stimulating!

THe fellow orchestrating the deal is pretty tight lipped about history, who restored, it. etc. Apparently a collector that has more than 1.

I like the car and thinking about it, just all a bit "secrety"
