Not sure you will run into this problem.. If you are not a current owner of a 2002 turbo, then BMW may request a copy of your registration to prove you have one of these cars. As weird as it sounds, I ordered both the front and rear 2002ti emblems from Maximillian but wasn't able to buy the FRONT one (ok on the rear one) because I could not provide proof of ownership of a 2002ti. If you run into problems, then I would suggest you look for a turbo emblem from another brand.

Thanks to everyone who had a helpful tip. I sourced a 2002 turbo emblem through blunttech and it arrived today from Germany. Looks amazing! It was 1 of 5 left in existence (new from the warehouse). Im excited to get this on the turbo e21 after the car gets painted.
