WTS: 1970 Zender Box Flare Project

Living in Europe and a new distraction have called for the breakup of a long standing project.

1970 clean WA state title, rust has been negated, car was completely stripped down and sprayed in primer, rear wheel opening were opened up to accommodate Zender Flares, all belt line trim was welded up, side markers shaved, fuel filler relocated to inside.

Has been stored inside for the last 7 years.

There was no significant rust except for the front clip on the lower which was all cutout. Plan had been to cover with the Zender front spoiler. Rear towers are completely solid, foot wells are good.

Zender kit was bought in Germany in '06, was then taken in and had the bumper cut out filled to match up with short side rear bumper, fuel filler was also filled. On of the front fenders was test sprayed, rears are attached with 3m bonding glue.

Car is rollable, the front end was out for reconditioning, front sits on 4x4s with casters that are attached at the strut mounting points. With a piece tying them together, ghetto but effective.

Includes all glass, complete front end with regular struts or for an additional $150 will include ground control coilover kit and shortened struts. Transmission, was in good working order when removed, has 3.64 rear end that is without issue. Steering box is in good order, as is all of the linkage.

Also includes the regular trunk and a fiberglass trunk that mount to the regular hinges. Will come with a set of e21 turbines.

No dash, and no engine. Have a blue interior to include front and rear side panels, front and rear seats, that could be included for an additional 350.

Car really just needs time and attention, of which I have neither as I'm stationed in Germany and have gotten wrapped into other projects.

Looking to get $1200 but will entertain all offers. I will be back September 19th and can arrange for viewing/pick prior to that. Car is currently located in Olympia.
