2002tii Euro Pics

Finally got around to going through Eurotrash's tutorial on posting pics.

Here are some pics of my tii - it is Euro version. I'm trying to highlight some of the parts/pieces that are different vs. US. Most of you know all of these things already, but it is raining here in the Grand Midwest, so I'm just doing this for the heck of it.

Here's the car...

Rear of the car. You can see the license plate holder is different, and the plate lights are in the bumper vs. next to the plate. Nowadays just about every squarie has this arrangement...

In the picture of your ignition parts, note two things Euro:

1. Absence of the starter by-pass relay on the firewall

2. Ground from the valve cover to the body.

3. Does yours have a ground on the front of the hood to the body?

On the dash:

1. No dash lettering, knobs have pictures on them

Now, the interesting things are the stickers, those that are unique to Euro cars and those that are not on US cars. Do you have those shots?

Only surviving original sticker. I had the car repainted in '91 or so. I bought new stickers and put them where they were supposed to go (at least the best thinking at the time). Of course at the time I didn't know they were unique to euro cars. Oh well.
