Love to help, but need much more info before can provide advice.

Photos, and current status (what works and what doesn't, has it ever worked, etc.) will help.

Cheers,

~Jason

This guy is selling a 75, and he told me that AC does not work; I am curious to know how much is to fix.

Wayyyy to vague.

Call him and ask more questions.

Is it missing parts? Does it need a recharge? New compressor? When did it run last? ETC!

Let's say, typical scenario, car has an original York piston type compressor, which needs to be replaced with a modern Sanden rotary compressor. Adapter bracket needed, new hoses need to be fabricated, receiver / dryer needs to be replaced, system evacuated and recharged...for STARTERS, provided everything else is in working order (possible but unlikely). Done at a retail repair shop, somewhere upwards of $1500. That's why it's important to know more about the system and the nature of the problem. Most A/C problems have only one symptom...no cold air. A working a/c system usually isn't a bargaining point in the purchase of a 2002 unless the system is advertised as updated & working and the vehicle is priced accordingly. Most of us take for granted that if the system is still in the car it NEEDS to be updated or removed per our preference.

Budweiser...It's not just for breakfast anymore.
