what the mark on the head is.

if it is a 121tii (that) is not a miss

type. i would be interested in buying

it if it appears useable.

Do you think any of the engines or carburetors are salvageable in that state of corrosion? I've never seen cars that far gone, even the Bavaria I almost got for a first car that sat 15 years under a cloth cover was actually straight. That 02 makes my '76 look like a showroom car. It makes me want to cry! I'm glad you're able to save what you can.

All of these cars were parked with early 80's plates on them. I cant imagine that the mileage could be terribly high. At the inspection, I was so in awe at the corrosion, that I didn't even think to check.. but I say that the engines may well be fine.

For what it's worth: The bumper mounted license plate lights in early E9s are the same p/n as Euro 2002 bumper mounted license plate lights.

So I drug the 2800CS home. Upon investigation, it shows 34k on the OD, was last licensed in 1980, and per a service receipt from 1977, it had 27k then. So this is a legit 34k mile car. Who does this?
