The 2800 just sold. Complete. It's going to Akron, Ohio.

So I drug the 2800CS home. Upon investigation, it shows 34k on the OD, was last licensed in 1980, and per a service receipt from 1977, it had 27k then. So this is a legit 34k mile car. Who does this?

I haven't been able to find anything more on these cars. Any chance you could sent me a contact name or number? I'm looking for parts for my 2800cs project.

Hey Jason - did you ever try to find Stuart Kirschner, the guy that owned the blue 2800?  I think I found him on linked in just now.  He is still here and still working.  He might know some back story on the Death Camp, if you don’t have it.  If you do, never mind.

 

I found my pics…I’m going to post them tomorrow or the next day.  Just for posterity.

I thought I had more pics than these, but here they are.  From late '12.  The white couple is now on BAT as a parts car.  James Laray rebuilt one of these (I think), which is the other one on BAT right now.
