VINTAGE 1971 BMW 2002 - FOR SALE

Originally orange in color, Professionally painted some time ago before I got it.

It is absolutely all original and un-fudged with except for the paint job.

Still has original 1 barrel Solex carb.

Starts, Runs and drives very good, No oil leaks.

Motor could use a refresh as it smokes a little, but has good power.

The interior & upholstery is near mint condition. No holes on seats

Body is straight as an arrow with no rust, top or bottom.

Recent tune-up and radiator dip cleaned & pressure tested.

All electrics work, good brakes, clutch, and tires.

I currently have 2 other 'modified' 2002's and I need to sell this one.

It is cosmetically the best, all original and unmodified.

I acquired it from the 2nd owner. . . . . she owned it for 30 years.

It has only been registered in Arizona & New Mexico since new.

Check it out!

I search for and look at a lot of these cars all the time.

This is an exceptional find.

How is this a euro model? I though thought the euros came with different (flat) turn signals, side reflectors deleted etc. any more pictures? The side mirror also look to be a later one from the one picture....

My 2002 was manufactured on September 15th, 1971 and delivered on October 22nd, 1971 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Granada, paint code 023. It was sold on New Years Eve December 31st 1971.

I am just curious...

What does the dash look like under those covers?

Does the emergency brake work properly - possibly share a picture without the rubber boot in place.

What is the VIN?

Any additional pictures available other than the (2) on Craigslist?
