Touring people... need a photo of your rear end (of the car)

Recommended Posts

I am going to remove the "cyberlight" system my dad installed on the car in the 80s. It causes all the lights on the back of the car to flash when I step on the brakes. Also causes my dash gages to jump about and give false readings. I need a photo of some licence plat brackets and lighting. Thanks!

ive got my Swedish plate attached to the stock aluminum euro plate holder. then wedged a US Volvo license plate holder in there to hold the US YOM plate.

Thanks fellas! Looks like I am gonna go back to stock. The cyber light has seen it's day.

Since your rear bumper appears to not have the license plate lights the rest of us have. you will need to add them, or just get a regular 02 license plate bracket like the one on my 76.

My lights kept blinking on and off because of faulty grounding so we remade the whole system, chose a decent ground and internally, the light bulbs and all parts were changed to a more reliable "modern" system.

But I did have the original bumper holes with the plastic lenses.

You could always cut the holes in the bumper for the original

lights to bring it back.

Some have shortened the distance between them to better

suit the US plates.

The rear license plate lights is what makes a euro bumper.
