Not very common because they only made 2870 in USA over a 4 year period. I have a E36/8 M coupe. It's a blast and also has quite the enthusiast community. I have had an E30, an E39 wagon in the past. I really enjoy the difference between a 13yr old and a 44yr old. It makes me appreciate each more when I alternate driving them. I almost bought an older boxer motorrad, but went for a FI Duc instead. I might trade the Italian in for a German down the road... The S 1000 RR in motorsport colors is so sweet.

E30's for sure. In the past four years, I've had a Euro spec E12 & E28 that I've bought and sold. I've totaled my daughters 89 E30. Now I've just picked up another E30, a 88 325is.

Counting my son's E30 M52 turbo (482rwp), and E30 touring, we just about have the E30 model covered.

For me its the E30 as well. About a year ago I had it sold. In part to fund the 02. Long story short, buyer did not have the funds.

I am so dam glad he didn't.

One e36 M3 and 1 e34 535i.

I think the e30M3 when it returns to the road some day is the one.

We have been thinking of a new family car and we were going to replace the TDi Jetta Wagon, but with Jen's new job she will have a sizable commute so we have to keep it.

With her new job comes new responsibilities for me. I will have to pick up Anna and two of her friends at school a few days of the week when I'm home from work. Not sure the e30 is up to that task.

I hate the idea of selling the e30 but I just got that P car......

A couple years ago, my younger daughter needed a car to take to school. I found a 1989 325is in "used" but serviceable condition. Car people thought it was really cool. Others thought it was grey. Makes a great kid-school car. Unless your daughter is 12.
